How To Apply
- Using a teaspoon, take one level teaspoon of seaweed extract and mix it with 9 litres of water (a normal household watering can or bucket is 9 litres). Make sure that you stir it well as you mix the water (if you are using a garden hose, the pressure will normally be enough to provide just the right amount of agitation to dissolve the extract).
- Wait a couple of minutes for the extract to dissolve completely in the water. The water should look absolutely BLACK (yes, black!). Remember, this is a highly concentrated product, it looks strong and it is! Water your plants, applying to both the root zone and the leaves (just pour it right over the plant, except where there are flowers, of course).
- Fertilize regularly! Seaweed extract should be used a little at a time, but regularly, to obtain the best results from all plants. Fertilizing can be done over a couple of weeks, but of course don't do it in the heat of the day. Early morning or late afternoon is best so the plant does not burn. In this way it will have time to absorb all those nutrients.
